Voiceflex launch 03 Number Range
Posted on 13/08/2009 @ 12:00 PMVoiceflex officially launch their 03 number ranges, with the exception of the BBC breakfast show the 03 range has been a slow starter. This is due to the cost and lack of revenue. Ofcom has been pushing the range as the caller only pays the standard national call cost and most GSM operators include the range with in free calls package. The problem is most operators have to treat the range as a Non Geo number pointing it to a DDI number which incurs an ingress call cost which has to be paid for by some body. So why have a 03 when it will cost you money?
Using the Voiceflex platform when the 03 number is assigned to a SIP trunk the call stops on our network end to end so there is no ingress charge. The other benefit of using a Voiceflex SIP trunk is the customer can send out the 03 number as there CLIP.
