Ethernet Data Link Services

Ethernet connectivity allows you to connect multiple sites together at the switch level (Layer 2). All presentations to the customer are standard RJ45 connections that can be plugged directly into your site switches. You choose how you wish to manage your traffic on these links. You can extend VLANs between sites or use the links as VLAN trunks. The choice is entirely yours.

Choose Ethernet Link services if:

• You want to connect multiple offices using your own switching hardware
• You have the expertise and want greater control in managing all link traffic yourself
• You want secure, off Internet, data link layer connections between sites
• You want high performance, low latency connections between your sites.

Flexibility

Full layer 2 capabilities can be employed with these connections. Whatever features are supported by your switches can be applied easily over these connections.

For instance you can deploy spanning tree protocol to provide loop free pathways between your sites. Implement quality of service policies to control traffic flows.

Our MPLS services are designed to provide fully managed connectivity solutions for businesses requiring to connect two or more sites. MPLS overlays your private network over ours to give you global reach at a fraction of the price. Build your network and get your traffic flowing the way you want. No complex know how needed. Our new Voiceflex Direct service provides the ability to replace multiple ISDN30 capacity – with a single connection.
