Xcelerator IP delivers low cost IP Telephony for small businesses through SIP Trunking capabilities from VoiceFlex
ICON the UK distributor of Vertical Communications Xcelerator IP announced that the Xcelerator IP has been tested with the VoiceFlex Session Initiated Protocol (SIP) trunking services from VoiceFlex.
For around £700, a business can acquire a telephone system and handsets which provides voice mail, auto attendant, and music on hold and an IT network with a wireless access point and, by purchasing a SIP trunking account from VoiceFlex, it can connect the Xcelerator IP to the VoiceFlex IP network using SIP-trunking, over any broadband connection, and thereby benefit from substantial savings over ISDN.
Xcelerator IP is a low cost, ready to go, out of the box, VoIP business phone system with an integrated data networking solution. It is a complete office solution. Xcelerator IP is a wireless network and telephone solution for the small office or home office which supports up to 24 IP telephones plus additional office devices. About the size of a text book it provides all the functions required by the small and home office. These include; Businesses phone system, Wireless access point (WiFi AP), Data networking (router) Internet access, Firewall.
Xcelerator IP provides for up to 11 simultaneous external telephone calls to be handled. It can connect to eight (8) VoIP (SIP-based) trunk connections for IP telephony via the WAN port (broadband connection) and three (3) traditional PSTN lines for conventional telephony or for fail over to analogue should there be a power failure or network malfunction.
